The examples shown here are in Ecru & Jute. Additionally, you will need a crochet hook size I 5.50 mm, yarn needle, scissors, and a measuring tape.

The gauge for this pattern is approximately 12 stitches for every 4 inches.

Large Dishcloth Pattern

Foundation Row:

Chain 21.

Row 1:

(COLOR A) Starting in the 2nd chain from the hook, single crochet in each chain across. Turn. (20 stitches)

Row 2:

(COLOR B) Chain 1, starting in the 2nd chain from the hook, half double crochet in the back loop. *In the next stitch, half double crochet in the front loop, in the next stitch, half double crochet in the back loop. Repeat from * across. Turn. (20 stitches)

Row 3:

(COLOR B) This whole row is worked into Row 1. Chain 1, half double crochet in the back loop of the stitch from Row 1 that you just half double crocheted in the front loop, half double crochet in the front loop of the next stitch from Row 1 that you just half double crocheted in the back loop. Repeat across. (20 stitches) Continue repeating Rows 4-7 until you reach 29 rows total. Weave in remaining yarn ends with a yarn needle.

Small Dishcloth Pattern

Foundation Row:

Chain 17.

Row 1:

(COLOR A) Starting in 2nd chain from hook, single crochet in each chain across. Turn. (16 stitches)

Row 2:
