Free Crochet Heart Pattern

Materials
- Any 2 yarns and coordinating hook as stated on package. Worsted weight #4 cotton yarn is recommended.
- Crochet hook, preferably 5 mm (H-8)
- Scissors
- Yarn Needle

Abbreviations used:
- dc = double crochet
- hdc = half double crochet
- sl st = slip stitch
- ch(s) = chain(s)
- sk = skip
Crochet Heart Pattern
With the first color, chain 5, slip stitch in the 1st chain to make a magic ring.
ROUND 1:
Chain 3, 2 dc in ring, chain 2, {3 dc, chain 2} 4 times in the ring.
Join with a slip stitch to top of chain 3. Fasten off.
ROUND 2:
Join in the second color {3 hdc, dc, 3 hdc} in the next chain space.
Skip 1 chain, slip stitch in next chain, {3 hdc, dc, 3 hdc} in next chain space.
Skip 1 chain, slip stitch in the next chain, slip stitch in the next 6 chains, chain 2, slip stitch in the next 6 chains.
Fasten off and weave in loose ends.
