How do I use this cross stitch alphabet chart?
Each card shows a single letter rendered as a 5×7 pixel grid. Each filled square represents one cross stitch. Choose a font style using the tabs above, then copy the pattern onto your Aida fabric by stitching each filled square. You can change the display colour to match your thread choice and print the entire chart for offline reference.
What fabric and thread should I use for cross stitch letters?
We recommend 14-count Aida fabric for most lettering projects. Use two strands of DMC stranded cotton for full coverage. Each pixel in our chart equals one cross stitch on the fabric. For smaller text, try 18-count Aida; for larger, bolder letters, use 11-count Aida.
Can I mix font styles in one project?
Yes. Many stitchers combine a decorative script font for names or headings with a clean block font for dates or smaller text. Simply switch between the font tabs above and copy the letters you need from each style. All three fonts use the same 5×7 grid size, so they will sit at the same height on your fabric.
