• Patons Denim-y Yarn in Lemon Curry (144 yards) or any medium #4 weight yarn
• Yarn needle
• Scissors
• Measuring tape

Crochet Abbreviations:

• sc = single crochet
• dc = double crochet
• hdc = half double crochet
• ch = chain
• sl st = slip stitch
• st = stitch

Notes:

• Finished Size: Teen/Adult – 22″ Circumference & 9″ Length
• After round 5 you should have a 6″ circle

Ch 3, 10 dc in 3rd ch from hook, sl st to top of the first dc. (10)

Round 2:

Ch 3, 2 dc in every ch around, sl st to top of the first dc. (20)

Round 3:

Ch 1, *sc, 2 sc in next st, repeat from * for a total of 30 sc, sl st to top of first sc. (30)

Round 4:

Ch 3, *dc, dc in next st, 2 dc in next st, repeat from * for a total of 40 dc, sl st to top of the first dc. (40)

Finishing:

Weave in loose ends with a yarn needle.
