Autumn Crochet Beanie Pattern
Skill Level: Easy
Materials:
- Crochet hook size I 5.5 mm
- Less than one skein of Lion Brand Heartland Yarn in Joshua tree or less than 251 yards of any medium weight four yarn
- Yarn needle (aka tapestry needle)
- Scissors
- Measuring tape
Crochet Abbreviations:
- hdc = half double crochet
- sl st = slip stitch
- ch = chain
- bl = back loop
- fl = front loop
- x = times
Notes:
- Gauge = 10 sts for every 4"
- One size fits most - teen to adult woman = 8" height x 22" circumference

The Beanie Pattern Steps:

ch 2, 10 hdc's in 2nd ch from hook, sl st to top of first hdc. (10)
Round 2:
ch 1, starting in 2nd ch from hook * hdc 2x bl, in next ch hdc 2x fl, repeat from * around, sl st to top of first hdc. (20)
