Fall Crochet Headband Pattern - A Free Crochet Pattern
Materials Needed
- Caron Simply Soft or any Medium Weight (4) Yarn
- Yarn needle
- Scissors
- Size H Crochet Hook

- Change size by working in an even number
Main Headband
Chain 32
- ROW 1: Single Crochet in 2nd Chain from hook. Skip a stitch, 3 Double Crochets in the next stitch, *skip a stitch. Single Crochet in the next stitch, skip a stitch, 3 Double Crochets in the next stitch. Repeat from * across, end with a Single Crochet, turn.
- ROW 2: Chain 3, Dc in the next stitch, *skip a stitch, Single Crochet in the next stitch, Skip a stitch, 3 Double Crochets in the next stitch. Repeat from * Across, end with a Double Crochet, turn.
- ROW 3: Chain 1, Single Crochet in the same stitch, *skip the next stitch, 3 Double Crochets in the next St (this would be the single crochet stitch from the row before), skip a stitch, Single Crochet in the next stitch. Repeat from * across.
- ROW 4: Repeat ROW 2
- ROW 5: Repeat ROW 3, and fasten off. Weave in loose ends with a yarn needle.
2nd Piece
- Join a new piece of yarn with a Slip Stitch along the short side in the center of Band you just finished making
- 2 Single Crochets along the side, turn
- Chain 1 for 15 times
- Single Crochet 2 TOGETHER and Chain desired amount (e.g., 15), tie off. This will be the piece you will use to tie your headband together when you wear it.
3rd Piece
Repeat instructions for the 2nd Piece along the other short side of the headband.
Weave in loose ends throughout the headband with a yarn needle.
