- Size J crochet hook or 6 MM

- If you want to make a smaller or larger blanket, start with a beginning chain that is a multiple of 17

Pattern Steps
FOUNDATION ROW: With the first color, chain 101 (or as per your desired length).
ROW 1: Starting in the second chain from the hook, work sc2tog, 1 sc in each of the next 5 chains, sc 3 times in next chain, *1 sc in the next 7 chains, skip next 2 chains, 1 sc in next 7 chains, sc 3 times in the next chain. Repeat from * across. (100 stitches)
ROW 2: Chain 1, sc2tog, 1 sc in each of next 5 stitches, sc 3 times in next stitch, *1 sc in the next 7 stitches, skip next 2 stitches, 1 sc in next 7 stitches, sc 3 times in the next stitch. Repeat from * across. (100 stitches)
ROW 3 – 19: Repeat Row 2.
ROW 20: Change colors and repeat Row 2.
ROW 21 - 39: Repeat Row 2.
ROW 40: Change colors and repeat Row 2.
ROW 41 - 59: Repeat Row 2.
ROW 60: Change colors and repeat Row 2.
ROW 61 - 79: Repeat Row 2.
ROW 80: Change colors and continue repeating Row 2 for the rest of the blanket.
Finishing
Fasten off yarn and weave in loose ends throughout the blanket using a yarn needle.
