Crochet Bobble Pillow Cover Pattern - A Free Crochet Pattern

If you’re looking to add a cozy touch to your living space, this Crochet Bobble Pillow Cover Pattern is the perfect project for you. With a combination of bobbles and simple single crochet stitches, this pillow cover will add texture and style to any room. Let’s get started with this free crochet pattern!

Materials Needed:

  • 9 mm crochet hook
  • Yarn needle
  • 1 Skein of Wool-Ease Thick & Quick in Fossil & a bonus Bundle of Wool-Ease Thick & Quick in Fisherman
  • 20 x 20 crochet pillow insert

Abbreviations:

  • ch = chain
  • sc = single crochet
  • b = bobble
  • sl st = slip stitch
  • st = stitch

Finished Size:

Finished crochet cover will fit a 20 x 20 pillow insert. Each row is approximately 20”.

Notes:

  • Written in Standard US terms
  • Bobbles are worked in a different color than the single crochets. The colorway Fossil is recommended but any color from the Wool-Ease Thick & Quick line will work!

Pattern Steps:

The Front Panel:

Foundation Row: With the Linen colorway, chain 30. Starting in the second chain from the hook, single crochet in each chain across. (29 stitches)

Row 1: Chain 1, single crochet in the first stitch, single crochet once in each of the next 13 stitches. Bring in the Fossil color while holding the Linen non-working yarn with it along the bottom. Work a bobble stitch. Continue with Linen yarn for the rest of the row. (29 stitches)

The Back Panel:

Foundation Row: With the Linen colorway, chain 30. Starting in the second chain from the hook, single crochet in each chain across. (29 stitches)

Joining the Front & Back Panel + Border:

Hold the two panels together with the right sides out. Use the Linen yarn to single crochet across through both panels to join, doing 28 stitches across. When reaching the corner stitch, work three single crochets in one stitch. Continue single crochet along the other sides through both panels until reaching the last side. Insert the pillow insert, then single crochet along the last side to close up. End with a slip stitch into the first single crochet of the border.

And voila! You’ve created a beautiful Crochet Bobble Pillow Cover to adorn your space. Enjoy the cozy vibes!
